A compressed neck disc can lead to spinal cord pressure, making dogs lose strength and control of their legs.

At surgery we can use a spacer, anchored with a washer, to distract the disc space. A bone graft from the shoulder encourages future fusion.

This patient, a Doberman, was discharged from hospital two days after surgery.
