This is Danny the standard poodle.

He had a persistent cancer develop on the side of his face so he was referred for a surgery to remove it with a wide margin, using a technique called an advancement flap.

He’ll have to wear an elizabethan collar for a while to protect his stitches which we’ll remove after ten days, and once his fur has grown back he’ll be back to his handsome self again.

Danny is a black standard poodle with cancer on his muzzle and below his eye showing stitched wound
