Nurse Christine with the powerhouse dude that is Diesel.

He had bilateral TPLO yesterday, under general and epidural anaesthesia, and he is walking and raring to go.

Sam has a wedge TPLO

Sam has found the vet’s exit door, having been in for his 6 week check up after a Wedge TPLO, treating cruciate ligament rupture associated with excessively steep tibial plateau.

Wedge TPLO was originally described in the 80’s, but remains an excellent option for these small terriers who tend to have plateau angles above 30 degrees, and so would require a very big rotation if an Slocum (rotational) TPLO was performed as we do in larger breeds.
