We often say it is a privilege to treat our patients. Never truer than in this case. This Labrador is a police sniffer dog, based in the South-West and helping to protect us all.
He lives with his police officer handler full time, so they have a bond both as a colleague and a pet.
Early onset elbow arthritis meant he was becoming limited in his movement. We performed bilateral Proximal Abducting Ulnar Osteotomy (PAUL), and here at 6 week review he is nearing a return to duty.
