We were performing spinal surgery on a chihuahua. Surgeon Colin Whiting wears magnifying loupe spectacles with mounted spotlight which creates a much expanded and brightly illuminated viewing field- assisting greatly with procedures on tiny parts of tiny patients.
The second picture after closure shows the small bright light field on the table, where the loupes create a sharp magnified image.
