Pearl, a 16 month old lurcher, was referred in after a road traffic accident.
We stabilised her fissured mid-diaphyseal tibial fracture with a medial 3.5mm DCP and 14 cortical screws.
She had an epidural supporting her general anaesthetic which is keeping her comfortable post-operatively and we hope she’ll be toddling home on it tomorrow for a few weeks convalescence.
Pearl is a brave girl, walking on a lead this morning with some comfy medication aboard following her tibial fracture repair yesterday.
Nice message in the post on the same day for Colin. These annual awards are nominated anonymously by clients and our clinicians do really appreciate receiving them.
A very big thank you to whoever nominated Colin this year.
