Some patients with cranial cruciate ligament failure have markedly steep tibial plateau angles, particularly smaller breeds such as terriers where an over 30 degree angle is typical.
These images show both Wedge TPLO and Slocum TPLO (larger breeds) used to reduce plateau angle to a target at 4-6 degrees, when cranial tibial thrust is neutralised.
If anybody can fix this dog Penmellyn vets can. Always excellent!
